PortableFollowSpot respects your privacy. This policy explains what data is processed and how it is used.
1. Data We Collect
- We do not collect personal data for analytics, advertising, or tracking.
- We do not sell personal data.
- We do not perform cross-app or cross-site tracking.
2. Data Processed to Provide App Features
- Local Network: to send/receive DMX data (Art-Net/sACN) and Master/Slave features between devices on the same network.
- Motion Sensors (gyroscope/accelerometer): for Pan/Tilt control.
- User-imported/exported files: projects and fixtures (e.g., GDTF/PFS), stored locally or where the user chooses.
- Optional GDTF Share login (if used): credentials/tokens required for authentication, sent only to GDTF Share services.
3. Where Data Is Processed
- Processing primarily happens on-device.
- We do not send data to our own servers for analytics or marketing.
4. Third-Party Sharing
- We do not share personal data with third parties, except services explicitly used by the user (for example, GDTF Share authentication).
5. Data Retention
- App settings and project data remain local until the user deletes them.
- External-service credentials, if used, are stored using system security mechanisms (e.g., Keychain).
6. Children
- The app is not specifically directed to children under 13.
